Hi, interesting facts for you. Many flowers have secret meanings and in Japan the language of flowers is called hanakotoba. Flowers make excellent gifts for girls and guys and can be used to send subtle or overt messages to someone. Knowing the meanings can also help aspiring manga-ka choose appropriate flowers to draw into their backgrounds. Most Japanese greeting cards still use hanakotoba correctly. Unfortunately many people, even in Japan, don’t know hanakotoba or wrongly assume that all the Japanese meanings are the same as the Western meanings established during Victorian times. Strong Emotions Love is a tricky thing and but flowers can help express certain feelings. The yellow rose means ‘friendship’ in Japan and is a great gift for friends on Valentine’s Day or birthdays. It’s also very useful when someone has a crush on you and you want to let them down easy. It means the same thing in America, so it’s a nice way of saying “Let’s just be friends.” Different colors of the same flowers change the meaning in hanakotoba. While red roses mean ‘love’, pink roses mean ‘happiness,’ and white roses mean ‘silence,’ ‘innocence,’ or ‘devotion.’ A red camellia means ‘being in love’ but a yellow camellia means ‘longing.’ Red tulips can stand for trust, pride, or pity. Yellow tulips represent one-sided love and dark blue or purple tulips show mourning for the deceased. White carnations mean ‘engagement to be married,’ but other carnations can mean negative things like ‘refusal,’ ‘disdain,’ or even ‘disappointment’ (which I somewhat understand as I am usually disappointed if I get carnations, the cheapest flower around). Other flowers that represent facets of love are often drawn in the background of manga. Daisies mean ‘faithful’, forget-me-nots mean ‘everlasting or true love’, and lavender means ‘you are always in my heart.’ For some reason in hanakotoba the cactus flower means ‘lust.’ Mistletoe means ‘single and looking’ so it’s no wonder people kiss under it at Christmas time. In Japan people serious about love give a primrose, which means ‘desperately in love.’ If your crush has no clue about your feelings, or maybe doesn’t think you are serious about them, this is the flower to use. It’s also a good one to send if you’ve asked someone out and they haven’t answered you yet. Lotus flowers aren’t given as gifts because they mean “far from a loved one.” In ancient times women used to cultivate them in their yards while their lover was away to let potential suitors know that they were unavailable. If you want to let someone know that you hate them or will get revenge for what they have done to you, give them an orange lily. It is a popular flower for rivals in business to send to each other. Also it is not unheard of for brides to receive orange lilies on their wedding day from ex-lovers or women who wanted to marry the groom themselves. White lilies, on the other hand, mean ‘purity’ and are often used in funeral services because white is the color of death and mourning in Japan. Flowers with Personality There are some flowers that represent personality characteristics that make great signatures for manga characters. Pansies are flowers for a caring person and show their (and your) thoughtfulness. Violets represent honesty and can show someone you appreciate their candor. Jasmine is perfect for someone who is graceful or friendly. If you think someone has good taste, choose a large dahlia. Shy people are represented by an amaryllis and sweet people deserve a lily of the valley. Nature lovers would appreciate one of my favorite blossoms, a magnolia. Red poppies are seen as ‘fun-loving’ flowers in Japan. Associations with opiates aside, they are linked to cheerful people and could be given to outgoing friends. White poppies are used to celebrate events and orange poppies mean ‘success.’ Sending a Message Honeysuckle is a good thank you for someone who has been generous towards you. Bluebells mean ‘gratitude’ and are a good way to thank anyone. If you want to wish someone good luck, give them a clover which is considered lucky in hanakotoba. The white anemone is a flower that’s excellent for many situations because in Japan it means ‘sincerity’. Anytime you want to express sincere feelings, the anemone will work well. A flower to give politicians, royalty, or any other people in powerful positions is the edelweiss. In Japan it means both ‘courage’ and ‘power’ but it is also known as the flower of eternity because even when dried it looks about the same as it does alive. Giving it to someone lets them know that you hope they continue to be in power forever. The daffodil is the perfect flower to give to bosses, teachers, older relatives, and public figures because it means ‘respect’ in Japan. A nice gift for co-workers is verbena, because the flower means ‘cooperation’. Ambrosia flowers mean ‘pious’ in Japan and would be appreciated by anyone in the clergy. Freesia is a beautiful flower that comes in a variety of colors that is found all over Japan. The flower means ‘childish’ and is often given to someone who acts immature as a gentle criticism. The azalea is a pretty little flower that often comes in larger bouquets. In Japan the flower means ‘patience’ and it’s good to give someone if you want to let them know you will patiently wait for them or you will be patient with their decisions or behaviors. The sweet pea is a flower of goodbyes in Japan. It is nice to give to a friend who is moving away, or a coworker who is leaving for another job. It is meant to mean goodbye forever, with positive feelings toward the other person. Don’t use the sweet pea when breaking up with someone unless it’s a very amicable separation. A morning glory is a creeping flower that is often used in anime and manga because in Japan it means “I will keep my promise” and we all know how many promises childhood friends and samurai make.

SINGAPORE : The New Year's Eve party along Orchard Road has turned into a nightmare for some female partygoers who have turned to blogs to say they were molested by men who operated in groups.

The women say the molesters used party foam sprays to temporarily blind their victims first.

Police say they received 11 reports of molest alleging the acts took place along Orchard Road that night.

Since then, the police have made eight arrests and confirmed that some used such tactics.

"The first guy sprayed foam spray into my eyes so I was blinded. I was coughing because I sucked the foam in as well. I was so shocked when a second guy grabbed my left*****(and a third guy grabbed my right******!," said one victim, an undergraduate.

"A fourth guy actually reached down to my privates and grabbed it as well. It was so horrible and I wanted to cry. But I didn't want them to see I was going to cry so I just screamed and cursed at one of the guys who I saw was running away," she said.

Another victim says foam sprays were used on her as well.

One type of spray used by the molesters, called a ribbon or string spray, can target victims several metres away, catching them by surprise.

Outraged bloggers have started an online petition to ask for aerosol sprays to be banned.

But not all molesters use sprays to outrage their victims' modesty.

"One of them just came up and lifted my skirt. Then another person, I assume it's his friend, uses his handphone to take a video of me under my skirt. I was terrified. I tried to run away but it was a big group. There were 7 or 8 of them so I couldn't do anything about it," said another victim.

She said at least 10 of her girlfriends were similarly violated but most did not make a police report.

"Even if I were to see the same group of men, I wouldn't recognise them," said a third victim.

Fellow bloggers who were molested at the Millenium party five years ago are telling their stories because they hope something can be done.

All three victims are alleging that their attackers are foreign nationals.

Police say they have received reports against suspects of various races.

Once upon a time a tortoise and a hare had an argument about who was
faster.

They decided to settle the argument with a race. They agreed on a route
and started off the race.
The hare shot ahead and ran briskly for some time.

The moral - " Fast and consistent will always beat the slow and steady.
It's good to be slow and steady; but it's better to be fast and reliable."

THE STORY DOESN'T END HERE
The tortoise did some thinking this time, and realized that there's no
way it can beat the hare in a race the way it was currently formatted.

It thought for a while, and then challenged the hare to another race, but
on a slightly different route. The hare agreed. They started off. In keeping
with his self-made commitment to be consistently fast, the hare took off and
ran at top speed until he came to a broad river. The finishing line was a
couple of kilometres on the other side of the river.

The hare sat there
wondering what to do.
In the meantime the tortoise trundled along, got into the river, swam to the opposite bank, continued walking and finished the race.

The moral - "First identify your core competency and then change the
playing field to suit your core competency."

THE STORY STILL HASN'T END HERE
The hare and the tortoise, by this time, had become pretty good friends
and they did some thinking together.

Both realized that the last race could
have been run much better. So they decided to do the last race again, but to
run as a team this time.

They started off, and this time the hare carried the tortoise till the riverbank. There, the tortoise took over and swam
across with the hare on his back. On the opposite bank, the hare again carried
the tortoise and they reached the finishing line together. They both felt a
greater sense of satisfaction than they'd felt earlier.

The moral - "It's good to be individually brilliant and to have strong
core competencies; but unless you're able to work in a team and harness each
other's core competencies, you'll always perform below par because
there will always be situations at which you'll do poorly and someone else
does well.

Teamwork is mainly about situational leadership, letting the person
with the relevant core competency for a situation take leadership.
Note that neither the hare nor the tortoise gave up after failures. The
hare decided to work harder and put in more effort after his failure. The
tortoise changed his strategy because he was already working as hard as
he could."

In life, when faced with failure,
sometimes it is appropriate to work
harder and put in more effort.

Sometimes it is appropriate to change strategy and try something different.

And sometimes it is appropriate to do both.
The hare and the tortoise also learnt another vital lesson. When we stop competing against a rival and instead start competing against the
situation, we perform far better.
To sum up- the story of the hare and tortoise has much to say:
Chief among them are that fast and consistent will always beat slow and
steady;work to your competencies; pooling resources and working as a team will always beat individual performers; never give up when faced with
failure; & finally, compete against the situation - not against a rival.

HOWEVER...

Hi, yk here. So, it has been 2 years already and friendships and social groups have been formed. But seriously, do you guys think that we, class 2f, are REALLY united? I'm just stating my points as frankly as possible. True each individual in the class have made friends with a group and form a clique. But each clique only mingles internally and rarely venture out. Note that I mean it on a general basis, so if you do mingle with other people, good for you. Through my eyes, I think that we are the least united class among the 4 express classes. 2g for example, bears a very strong bond among each and every student, regardless of race, gender or religion. Their class is organised and clean. Us, 2f, being the class next to 2g, can really create a real BIG contrast. Think about it. In 2f, the girls and boys mingle among their own gender(generally). Social groups that rarely communicate with each other. RACISM AND NEGLECT. I do admit that i used to and still commit these acts, but I really want to change it all and i am sorry that i have done so. It's already too late for 2F to change for the good but just take a minute or two to reminisce the what you have done in the past 2 years. I just do hope when we walk our separate routes, we would learn from my mistakes and not commit them again.

Well, the day has come for us to say our goodbyes and part after a sweet 2 years in the same class. Although the class has only lasted for 2 years, the memories last a lifetime. Future plans? Not a lot, but whenever a nice movie is out or there is time to organise BBQs, rest assured we will do it most likely every year. Just hope that within the 2 years, friendships have been forged and social circles have widened. Must thank the following people:

-Meet at tiong MRT by 1.30pm. DO NOT BE LATE! we wont be late. If you really are late then msg me or something like that.

Go to Marina south together! (:, Play bowling( can have competition or something :D)
Steamboat starts at 5/5.30pm. You are advised to come for the bowling too, even if you only intend on going for the steamboat.
After which people staying overnight will leave the place after steamboat to chalet! Then we will have three rooms. We go buy snacks and drinks to last us the night. WHEE! At night we can play truth and dare or something (: ... i dont think we will have movie marathon, unless anyone volunteers to bring a VCD player.

Uniform groups:How to Starch ur collars

You spray the starch on the shirt (I unfold the collars and spray the back so the starch won't be directly against my neck). Spray the starch using the same sweeping motion you would if you were spray painting a piece of furniture. You want the shirt to get damp but not wet. A fine misting of the starch will do. Of course the more starch you spray on the stiffer the collar will be. After you've run the hot iron over the sprayed collar and gotten it looking like it want it to, then fold the collar over to it's normal position and run the iron over the collar again a couple of time to set the fold of the collar the way you want it.

People:I have to say that most of the incidents that had happen in our class is partly because of racism.Because of the recording"bangla calling",some ppl in our class had become a racist.They make fun of Faisal,who was regarded as a bangla or a black in the class.They hung his pencil case,they pour water on his desk,they wrote about rumours of him in the class whiteboard,they called him names and they wrote klu klux klan on the whiteboard to show supremacy between the blacks and the whites.
I have to make it clear to everyone that no one likes to be an outcast.Please do not be a racist anymore.Be more acceptable towards others.If you want people to show you respect,you have to respect others first.

3.On saturday,nicholas hp was stolen
And cherie's mp3 went missing on monday

out of 39 ppl in our class,i've got a hunch that 1 out of these 39 stole nicholas, lk and shah's most valuable items..
i deduce that-
first of all,he/she must be close to them(near)
secondly,they must have full access to the class 2F
thirdly,they must be swift in taking things

I believe that the thief also have a good classmate relationship with every1 so that he/she will not be suspected.
To the victims:if u know anyone that had bear a grudge with you before,or u bullied him/she b4,he/she can be a crucial suspect.

Summary of that incident on Saturday about the stolen phone of Nicholas:
Nicholas was very sure that he place his hp back into his bag during the last lesson after his phone dropped on the floor.He still saw his phone.Within seconds,after nicholas walk away(walk way part i not very sure),hs phone went missing.We ransacked the whole class,but we didn't fnd a single thing.So it had to be stolen.

Reminder to whole class:until the culprit was found,I beseech you not to bring ur phone and mp3 player to school.And always keep ur most valued things with you,for example,keys,money and your own bag.

Enhancing Memory Skills

Good memory can be trained if we understand how our brain retains information.Studies have shown that we forget most of what is told to us within the next 24 hours and almost all of it if we do not commit to some sort of memory in a short run.To improve our memory,we have to carry our periodic reviews.
To increase our retention of information for a lesson chapter:

Focus - remove a form of distraction and focus on the topic.
Chunking information - break down information into smaller chunks.
Organise - sequence chunks of information into a logical flow.
Visualise - use pictures.
Create maps.
Associate - link your information to other facts.

Other ways to improve Short-Term Memory:
Our brain likes patterns.When information is re-organised in certain patterns,we remember information much better.For example: try remembering the following letters-

If the letters are re-arranged into an easily recognised pattern,"Brainpower",our mind will instinctively retain and repeat with ease.

Use of Acronyms

Make connections
When information is connected to something familiar or weaved into a story,it can easily be recalled.

Use of Sensory Associations

Classic passive study technique - “reading my notes” or “reading the text”
What’s wrong with that?
1. Takes too long (or not, if you have lousy notes).
2. You spend as much time on trivia as on key information, on what you already know as what you don’t know.
3. You are using someone else’s organization and language, which may be meaningless to you - “in one ear and out the other”.
4. You aren’t doing what the test will demand - on the test you will have recall and write, not read!
5. You don’t find out what you really know until you write the test, when it’s too late to do anything about it!
6. You’ll probably put yourself to sleep.

Active studying:

1. Is multi-sensory - see it, say it , hear it, touch it, write it.
2. Is regular and frequent - repetition is needed to move material from short term to long term memory.
3. Requires thinking to select, organize and condense high value information so it can be mastered.
4. Active study produces products which can be used over and over at odd moments
5. Active studying makes use of the way the human memory works.

Memory Characteristics

Written language has led us to neglect our long term memory.
Meaningless information is difficult to memorize.
We remember the beginning and end of a list better.
We remember lists better if we know how many items are in the list.
We remember better things that are linked or associated.

1 Study in Short, Frequent Sessions.

It has been proven that short bursts of concentration repeated frequently are much more effective than one long session. So, even if you only have 10 minutes, DO IT. Take a break. Then study another 10 minutes. This “distributed learning” approach is highly efficient because it honors the way the brain likes to work. The brain needs recovery and recharging time for “protein synthesis.” The rest periods are when your brain assimilates your effort. They are a powerful tool which many teachers do not acknowledge. To sit and study for hours and hours is not only boring, it creates fatigue, stress, and distraction. You cannot learn if you are fatigued, stressed, and distracted!

2 Take Guilt-Free Days of Rest.

This follows the same principle as above, but on a longer, daily time cycle. The reason for resting is to refresh oneself. However, if you feel guilty (“I really should be studying”) then your precious rest period has been used to create more stress. The brain will not absorb new data if it is stressed. On days off from studying, really enjoy yourself and do not feel bad about not studying.

3 Honor Your Emotional State.

Do not study if you are tired, angry, distracted, or in a hurry. When the brain is relaxed, it is like a sponge and it naturally absorbs data without effort. If you are emotionally stressed, your brain literally repels data. Forcing yourself to sit and study when your mind is on other things is a complete waste of time!

4 Review the Same Day.

When you learn something new, try to go over the points the same day. If you wait a few days and then make efforts to review the material, it will seem much less familiar. However, a quick review later in the day will tend to cement the information into your brain so that the next “official” study session, you will recognize it and it will seem easy.

5 Observe the Natural Learning Sequence.

Think of the activities you did when you were in nursery school. Using your whole arm, you probably performed the song that goes: “Put your right hand in, Put your right hand out.” Then, in kindergarten, using your hand, you might have been asked to draw lines or circles with crayons. Later, in first grade, now holding the pencil with your fingers, you drew smaller lines and circles to create letters. Believe it or not, this natural learning sequence, moving from large to small, coarse to fine, still remains effective even though we are now older. When you study, if you try first to grasp the big picture and then fill in the details, you often have a more likely chance of success.

6 Use Exaggeration.

Why does a baseball batter warm up by swinging two or three bats? Why do runners sometimes strap lead weights to their legs? In both cases, exaggeration during practice makes the final result seem easy. This concept can be applied to studying anything. For example, if you are studying spelling, exaggerate the sound of the letters to help to remember them. So for studying purposes, “naive” would be pronounced “NAY-IVY.” By getting used to this exaggerated pronunciation, the correct spelling seems obvious.

7 Prepare Your Study Environment.

If you require certain elements in your environment to help you study, try to always make these a priority. For example, do you need special lighting, silence, music, privacy, available snacks, etc.? Pay attention to what works for you and repeat it each time you study for best success.

8 Respect “Brain Fade.”

It is normal for the brain to have an attrition rate and to forget things. This does not mean that you are stupid! Instead of getting mad about this fact, you should expect it and deal with it accordingly. See your brain as depositing layers of knowledge. As you place more information on top, the lower levels become older and less available to your immediate recall. The trick here is simply to review. Since we can anticipate the eventual fading of our memory, creating a review aspect to our study session will solve the problem. Once every two or three study sessions, simply review older material that you will be still needing to remember. Often, a quick overview is sufficient. Sometimes, a complete detailed study session of the older material is required. “Brain fade” is completely normal. (Unless you are gifted with a photographic memory, which is extremely rare.)

9 Create a Study Routine.

Generally, if you schedule certain times of the day to study, you will get into a routine and accomplish more. If you just “fit it in” during your day, chances are that there will never be any time. An effective way to do this is to literally mark it down in your datebook calendar as if you have an appointment, like going to the doctor. For example: “Tuesday 3-4:30 P.M. — Study.”

10 Set Reasonable Goals.

One of the main reasons people do not reach their goals is because they set them too high. If you set goals that are manageable, even if they seem too simple, you get in the habit of accomplishing them and gradually you can set higher goals. Also, recognize the difference between long-term and short-term goals. Set your vision on the long-term dream, but your day-to-day activity should be focused exclusively on the short-term, enabling steps.

I've got a way of how to make the blog livelier and it is the most practical,ideal and suitable for now as it is the exam period.
Post all the good ways you got of how to study efficiently,which you think is the best for you and which you think can let your peers use your posts as a guide towards studying.No one is wrong in giving their studying method so no one should be criticise of their posts.Reader,simply refers the posts to be a Reference only. I shall start the ball rolling:

1.I am a nocturnal learner,which means I can study best in the night[between 8pm to 9pm:my best absorption of data period] and in the early morning.Choose the best time slot which you felt you can absorb the most number of infomation.
2.Always pack your bag before going to sleep.I always pack my bag in a descending way that the biggest object shall be at the back.I also used a file of safekeeping my worksheets so that I wouldn't lost them.And when you pack your bag,remember to check your file for undone worksheet and complete them.This way,your homework will be handed in on time.
3.Always bathe with cold/lukewarm water before studying or doing homework as it can help to cool down.I would always get frustrated when I was handling some tough problems without first bathing or when I bath too early and attempt the question too late.
4.Drinking chicken essence before an exam is GOOD.It was like you can hold on to the infomation for a longer time.It will definitely help you in remembering facts like the dreadful History,long-winded Geography and the analytical Literature.

When I was young, I lived in a deserted kampong deep in the jungle. Every night, my mother would ask me not to go home too late as there won't be any transportation after a certain time.

One night, before going home, I ta pao a kueh teow soup for supper. I was late and I waited for the taxi/bus but there was none. I was getting worried as the night was getting darker and darker. So I tried to flag down private vehicles to take me home. There was no one stopping for me, till one motorcyclist took compassion on me and stopped to give me a lift. He was a man with a kind face. I accepted his offer and got onto his motorbike. On the way home, we would pass by a temple. At night, the temple would look eerily spooky with the dim lights from the candles.

At first, the motorcyclist was warm and friendly. When the temple was approaching, the motorcyclist eyes grown bigger and bigger. His kind face turned to a face of anger. He was muttering something loud but was not audible to me. I was so scared that I closed my eyes in order not to see his angry face. Then, the motorcylist stopped in front of the temple and then yelled at me.

"Your kueh teow soup is so hot!! It is burning my thigh! Can you please move it away???"

When I was young, I have two friends who were very close to each other. They played with each other everyday. It was like, if you see A, you would see B next to him. They were always together. A loved fried eggs. Whenever he went out for lunch or dinner, without fail, he would ask for fried egg on top of his noodles, fried rice, etc.

One day, A involved in an accident and died. B was devastated. B went to the cemetery to pray everyday. He would go to the nearest restaurant and ta pao a box of fried rice with an egg on top to be offered to A when he went to pray to him. The next day, he opened the box and there was no egg inside! B was petrified. He thought, must be A who came and took the fried egg away. The same thing happened the next day and the day after that. B was confused, he went back to the restaurant and demanded to see the Chef. "Where is the fried egg?? it was gone! Then, the Chef opened the box - the fried egg was inside the box.

The Chef said, "Stupid! You open the box upside down. No wonder you cannot see the egg!!"

When I was young, I went to town to work with a group of friends during our summer holidays of two months. Being young and away from home for the first time, we drank and smoke like nobody's business. One night, we were pissed drunk and flagged the last bus down to go home. Being tired, we slept in the bus. It had been awhile that I fell asleep. I was awake by the chilly wind. I was shocked to find that there was no one in the bus, and I was the last passenger. I looked in front to check out for the driver. But the driver was no where in sight. Yet, the bus was moving. I panicked. I rubbed my eyes to make sure that I was not dreaming. The night was dark and cold. I hysterically jumped out from the bus and tried to run as hard as I could to get away. Then I heard someone yelled at me from behind the bus.

"Hey! Don't run away! Come over here and help to push the bus!" yelled the bus driver. I saw my other friends helping to push the bus, which broke down while I was asleep.

Erm guys...this time i have to agree with zhen hong...it may seem weird to post such kind of stuff but its really good to let ppl know how u feel...and not bottle up...but zhen hong, rmb not to go too overboard with those posts although u have de privilege...if i see too much posts that r somehow alike, i may have to delete...

Listen to this,I was in habbohotel again,but this time,with another friend.I can't let u noe hu it is.It was a she.After logging in to habbohotel,I saw her in the console.So i ask her where she is,she replied somewhere.So i go to the somewhere,then i saw her there with some others boys.I was pissed off and the room was very lag but i had to stay there as i dun want to leave her alone.Then she go into another rm after which,i ask her where she was again.She tell me where she was again then i went in.After going in,she simply ignored me.Thinking that she might be busy all the while,I left the rm and go into another rm.
Later,she send me a message through console saying,please go into rm previously which i think she was busy.I ask her y.She simply ignore me again.Then she sms me saying that she was offline le and made many friends.I guess they were all boys,I am on my verge of tears..As a boy,I din cry..but feel sad..Habbohotel is indeed a place for u to get a "friend" that wuld made u cry.
I am too lazy to create my own blog so i use this blog to express my feelings.I think a class blog ought to let ppl wrte abt their own things for the class to noe,Then we wuld have more things to write on.I hope liwei wun delete my post again,allow me to write this ba...

Well, I myself have to surrender to zhen hong's way of karma... so erm lets crap!~

I strongly believe that this blog should be cremated and not bury,bury takes up a lot of space whereas cremating only require least manpower and least space.LOL,I was only joking..If you got play maplestory de hua,must go dwl the patch frm 0.28 to 0.30 one...then can play ludibrium..go www.maplesea.com then click on the download client thingy...if you don't play maple,play msn...where can find hardgay's film in the net huh?
Today,I was at Tiong bahru plaza shopping for smth then in the lift,I heard a group of 3 females adult saying softly,"You only seen the ramen one ba...There's still alot of other hardgay films...".Then i go out to tenchi liao...You may be thinking y am i saying these,i said it becoz I cant believe that there's such concidence in this world,that 2 wks ago i din seen any of hardgay's film ,until the tuesday when Rain requested for it,nor hear anyone toking abt hardgay..then just after 4 days,I hear it frm an adult.So concidental!
Y is our blog so bored,becoz we nid a crap blogger,like me!.I hope my blog wun make anyone unhappy...Please praise me!

2 pm:Games end and everyone is free to explore Sentosa or anything else.

During the whole entire day 1, ( as i have said before) if you are really enthu and just into the whole event; you may just stand i chance to win escape theme park tickets. There can only be three girls and three boys who can win(note:game masters are not applicable to win tickets, sry..)
One ticket cost: $16.50

''Prize giving ceremony'' is to give out the tickets and also to give a prize to the winning group during the game.( GREAT PRIZES!!)

I think that not much ppl are able to sleep during the first day .
Because we are going arcade, bowling and perhaps cycling; pls remember to bring more money.$$$...

What you are going to bring depends on yourself ;like how many sets of clothes..etc.
Please bring sandals/slippers and shoes, if u can; bring snacks to share with everyone.:)

My own personal things to spice up the atmosphere.
Nuclear fission appeared to lead the race as energy alternative decades ago, as countries began building reactors. Worldwide, about 440 nuclear plants now generate 16% of the planet’s electric power, and some countries have gone heavily nuclear. France, for instance, gets 78% of its electricity from fission.
It is clear that nuclear fission provide abundant power, no carbon dioxide emissions to increase the global temperature.
Fusion is the gaudiest of hopes, the fire of the stars in the human hearth. Produced when two atoms fuse in to one, fusion energy could satisfy huge chunks of future demands. The fuel would last for millennia. Fusion would produce no long-lived radioactive waste and nothing for terrorists or governments to turn into weapons.
Hot fusion is tough because the fuel-a kind of hydrogen-has to be heated to a hundred million degrees Celsius or so before the atoms start to fuse. At those temperatures, the hydrogen forms a roiling, unruly vapor of electrically charged particles, called plasma.
“Plasma is the most common state of matter in the Universe,” says one physicist, “but it’s also the most chaotic and the least easily controlled.” Creating and containing plasma is so challenging that no fusion experiment has yet returned more then 65% of the energy it took to start the reaction.
Used nuclear fuel is rich in plutonium and leftover uranium-valuable nuclear material that the nuclear plant is designed to salvage. It will “reprocess” the spent fuel into a mixture of enriched uranium and plutonium called MOX, for mixed oxide fuel. MOX can be burned in some modern reactors and could stretch the fuel supply for decades or more.
Reprocessing plants in other countries also turn spent fuel into MOX. But those plants originally made plutonium for nuclear weapons, so the Japanese like to say that theirs, due to start up in 2007, is the first such plant built entirely for peaceful use.

The tests that we are having are killing us.Some people may feel that it is chicken feat.But too much chicken feat[feet],we will die of high blood cholestrol.This is our first class blog,of course,we feel happy.All students of G.E.S.S are allowed to see,but only class 2F is priveledged to edit it and objects to it.
